Rockies reinstate P Buchholz from DL

The right-hander was placed on the DL on August 17, retroactive to August 14, with lower back stiffness.

Buchholz, who began the 2010 season on the 60-day DL with a right elbow strain, is 1-0 with a 4.50 earned run average in seven games.

The Rockies also recalled infielder Chris Nelson from Triple-A Colorado Springs. Nelson has appeared in four games with the major league club this season, going 2-for-5 with two runs scored.
